Personal Retreats
1. One-on-one:
This is an opportunity to go deeper into your personal letting go process.
It is recommended for the person who is already aware (at least partially) of the issues they want to process.
To a certain extent this person has already initiated a dialogue with body and mind, through his personal experience or with the help of a practitioner.
This is an opportunity to enhance your body awareness and create a clearer picture of how you hold tension in your body. The next step could be to discover how the gross physical aspects relate to the much more subtle emotional-mental areas of being.
Or maybe it is just a matter of developing a healing movement routine that can help you regain balance and flexibility.
These retreat sessions can be scheduled over the course of a weekend and usually last one hour. They are conducted on a massage table, on the floor, a chair, or Swiss Physio Ball, depending on your needs.
If you are ready for more intensive work, the retreat can be extended over a period of one or two weeks. The modalities of work offered would be as described on the Methods webpage.
2. Group retreat:
The group retreats are an option available to groups of friends or co-workers that need to develop self-care skills to manage stress or burnout.
These sessions offer an opportunity to experience at a deeper level relaxing Feldenkrais/Alexander Method sessions, over the course of a weekend or week.
Tai Chi, Qigong and work on the Swiss Physio Ball are also available for these group sessions.
These sessions usually last one hour.
